Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Chad was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His childhood dream was to be a Armorer, but he was a colossal failure. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature crossbow.

He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Gilbert has worked very hard to control his curse. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
