History: Born in the west to a Laborer, Bertram learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. Alex is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Herbalist hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
