Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: To clean up the streets.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Born to a Gardener, his father struggled to pay the bills. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: This man stands a little under 5'1" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a tight fitting green shirt and pants. His white hair is matted, messy, and big. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Roland embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Roland was born the youngest of three triplets. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and wants to work out more often

Description: He wears tan trousers with white and green striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. He wears a small hat to hide his balding. His violet eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. Bernard is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Bernard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Bernard took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up mace and armor he uses now. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Dilettante responsibilities is difficult; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
