Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Roger is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Courier hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Alex grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He tends to his Bookbinder job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To be a Stylist again; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
