History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Lewis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Roofer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
