History: Anselm was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has worked as a Carter like his mother before him.

His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city.
