History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Bather arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: The child of a Dilettante, who enjoyed hunting, Alex was taken on many hunting expeditions. Alex liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has never given up on his painting dream.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Gilbert was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
