Personality: Randal is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Born to a Jeweler, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bookbinder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

History: Born to a Brewer, his father struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he wants revenge against illithids

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he is wracked by social anxiety
