History: Conrad hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Knight they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Marshal, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
