Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his singing with anyone who is interested.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Alex was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Tim's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born into a rich family. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He struck the Interpreter job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Description: He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment, and carries greatswords. He has moderate length white hair. His gray eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lance fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
