History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and money/treasure

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Gilbert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
