History: Born to a Fletcher, his mother struggled to pay the bills. A freak accident while working with his Fletcher mother left him crippled. During his travels, Shane and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Shane discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Shane fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: Randal lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. Being a Fortune-teller kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and to clean up the streets

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. His childhood dream was to be a Spice Merchant, but he was a colossal failure. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To be a Spice Merchant again; and balancing his hectic life and new unemployed responsibilities is difficult
