History: He was born in the north. Through the years after Miles was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Miles's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Miles and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Randal was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and he desires power and/or immortality
