His father taught him the rudiments of the Sellsword arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Gilbert liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Simon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
