History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mercenary. He struck the Mercenary job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to prove his worth to the world

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gilbert grew up listening to his mother's many stories. At a young age his mother died while driving off some giants. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in ceremonial dagger use. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Tim was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Laborer. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: Patrick is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.
