Description: He wears black painted combat armor at almost all times, and he perpetually has his quarterstaff ready. His brown hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: Roland is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Roland grew up listening to his father's many stories. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Roland grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Roland. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he wears light armors faded through time and improper care. His hair is auburn and very short. His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cartwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Wymar has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Slave Trader and was forced into it by his family; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is greedy

Description: This man stands a little under 6'3" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His black hair is braided into rings. His eyes are a pleasant brown.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is an amazing painter.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Roland's homeland. Roland decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he is wracked by social anxiety
