Personality: Charles is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Adelard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a chocolate of some kind. He wears tattered old clothes, marred by chocolates. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
