Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Assassin who has hired him part-time. The war was a terrible time for him, and Balimaar does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Balimaar hails from a village terrorized by drow. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
