Description: An older man who is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and white, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems, he is not a threatening figure. His red hair is lengthy. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Gilbert hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Interpreter they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Doctor, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.

His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Adelard grew up listening to his father's many stories. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature dagger.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: He was raised in a island tribe. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
