Description: This dark-skinned male does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His brown hair is knotted and matted. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Alex was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: Conrad was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and retire the richest man in the east

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His tied-back hair is black. His violet eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Henry enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. After a long history of fighting, Henry and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears an entirely grey suit with tan socks and a vest with buckled shoes. He has a black handlebar mustache and slicked back black hair. His fierce amber eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His moppish auburn hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his hazel eyes.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Unemployed. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Unemployed responsibilities is difficult.
