He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Rolf was raised in a hard working conservative environment. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Soapmaker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Recently the stress of being a Soapmaker has made it difficult for him to sleep.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
