History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gunter grew up listening to his father's many stories. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He now mingles about in high society.
