Description: This man is very fat, and wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. The war was a terrible time for him, and Bertram does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 5'3". He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress), and his gloved hand is found clutching a whip. He has done his best to style his white hair to look like a famous performer. His hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is a great chef.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Manfred liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Scribe.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Shane was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Apothecary. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
