Description: With pastel face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a warhammer on his belt. His red hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Adelard reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears dark leathers with embroidery. His golden hair is matted, messy, and big. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: Roger speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.
History: Born to a Roofer, his father struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Description: He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He is portly but not overly obese. His long golden hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His fierce violet eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.
History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is content

His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His white hair is greasy and uncared for. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep amber.
Personality: Bernard is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.
History: Bernard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
