History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Bernard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has never given up on his writing dream.

He then took over the family business and is one of the better Apothecary for hire.

His blue eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Frederick never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He got money to start a business from the gang present in town. He is greatly indebted to them.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
