Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a tea of some kind. He wears a black armored body suit, with a simple tan line shooting up and back down, marred by teas. His hair is long and red with streaks of auburn, and is pulled back with small black clips. His beard is auburn, braided, and well cared for. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, John was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, John never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Description: He wears dull red sweaters, loose grey pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed flail, just in case. He carries with him a set of flails on his belt, each one with a aquamarine on the hilt. He is bald on top and has large golden tufts of hair around his ears. His violet eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: Diggory was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and to unite with his sister

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is obsessed with finding treasure.
History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. He has moderate length brown hair. This green eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Arnold grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Arnold. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Brewer.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and balancing his hectic life and new brewer responsibilities is difficult
