Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Roland's homeland. Roland decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Roland fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
