Personality: Randal is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Map Maker kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Born to a Knight, his father struggled to pay the bills. A freak accident while working with his Knight father left him crippled. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bricklayer for hire.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Manfred was born with his mother's beautiful face. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Born in the east to a Bather, Dean learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has worked as a Bather like his father before him.
