History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Roland was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Roland was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Roland's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and seeks redemption

History: Frederick was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. After coming to the age of reason, Everard took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
