History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Simon was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. After a long history of fighting, Simon and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and regain custody of his daughter

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Trey was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. Trey abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: Guy was born the youngest of three triplets. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
