History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Through the years after Theobald was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Theobald's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
