History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bertram grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bertram. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Aldous is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Born in the north to a Bricklayer, Aldous learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Aldous has worked very hard to control his curse. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bricklayer for the past few years.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Healer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
