Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: He is a mite stocky and is dressed in earthy colors with a black and tan handkerchief worn on his left side. His head has been shaved. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady gray eyes.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Ruler. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Frederick lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Ruler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ruler work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Scribe, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Ruler responsibilities is difficult.

Description: This dark-skinned male wears green painted combat armor at almost all times. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His moppish red hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His violet eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Hunter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

Description: He wears a blue coat over a grey low-cut shirt, and a deerstalker hat upon his head. He carries a battered ceremonial dagger and tarnished shortbow as well. His hair is cut close to his head. His skin is flawless and his amber eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Frederick was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has achieved small success as a Layabout.

Motivation: Expand his business.

Description: He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty white coat over it. He carries with him a set of hand crossbows on his belt, each one with a aquamarine on the hilt. He has styled his blonde hair well, parting it to the left. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
