Description: He is a physically imposing light-skinned man. He wears black robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a flail, but if one is not available he will default to his kukri. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His eyes are a pleasant gray.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bernard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bernard. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Born in the east to a Soapmaker, Gerard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: 6'5" and muscular, this northern man is wearing a tight brown one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. His hair is auburn, silky, and of moderate length. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Simon was born with his mother's beautiful face. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
