History: Roland was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He has worked as a Mercenary like his father before him.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gifted student he started as a Priest, but he got bored and became a Architect. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
