Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a red vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His tan leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his red boots flare out at the collars. His hair is cut close to his head. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Hugh is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Hugh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. His hair is golden and curly. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Courier arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: This light-skinned male sports brown clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His silver hair is braided into rings. His brown eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature glaive.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Shepherd who has hired him part-time. He is an amazing painter.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Shepherd. He's also a talented Ploughman, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He's in love; and balancing his hectic life and new shepherd responsibilities is difficult

History: He is a Hag in disguise. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
