He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: This western man is abnormally tall. He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He wears his blonde hair down. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Aldous lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Aldous was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Aldous's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: This man loves dancing and to teach people dancing more than just about anything. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Mayor business.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has worked as a Mayor like his father before him.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He got into the Blacksmith business at a young age. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He became a Blacksmith soon after.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions
