History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Armorer mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gerard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
