History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Heward was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Blacksmith. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
