History: Hugh hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Jocelyn lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Jocelyn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Jocelyn was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. History: He comes from a rich western family. He married young, but lost his spouse to orcs. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it.
