Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears a robe, a symbol of the sun god around his neck, and a ceremonial dagger on his belt. His chestnut hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His eyes are a pleasant green.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Nicholas liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nicholas fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He is renowned for his bright violet suits and hats. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his brown eyes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Trym embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Frederick was born the youngest of three triplets. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and doesn't want to be a barkeep and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Animal Trainer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Animal Trainer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
