Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He tends to wear a large blue jacket. His moppish red hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His half smiles and hazel eyes are beguiling and draw you in.
Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: Gilbert was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: This northern man wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a brown coat. His clothes are grease stained in places. His auburn hair is long and unkept. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Carter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright blue and white, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His red hair is thinning but still full. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.
History: Gifted from a young age, Dustin studied abroad. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Dustin's homeland. Dustin decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. After a long history of fighting, Kyle and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and to settle down with his crush
