History: Born to a Miller, his father struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Gilbert and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Roland hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He wants revenge against goblins; and to reunite with his absent father

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.
