Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. He has a very tight haircut. He has gleaming, smiling amber eyes.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Hubert will drive conversation. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. During his travels, Hubert and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Hubert discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Hubert fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: He is a Yochlol in disguise. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Barkeep they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Sailor, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he has money and likes to spend it
