History: Gifted from a young age, Shane studied abroad. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Shane embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Shane enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. He is portly but not overly obese. His hair is long and black with streaks of white, and is pulled back with small blue clips. His beard is white, braided, and well cared for. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born to a Sailor, his father struggled to pay the bills. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: 5'11" and muscular, this western man wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. He wears his auburn hair up. His brown eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Priest profession.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Carter and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: He very much looks the part of a Laborer. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. His chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He has all his life been fascinated with singing.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Theobald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Laborer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.
