Description: A middle-aged man, he very much looks the part of a Painter, and is pretty ugly. His wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His eyes are hazel and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Geoffrey isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Geoffrey was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Painter. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 9 years.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and to be a merchant again

Description: He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his pickaxe, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a butterfly on it. His golden hair is smooth and relatively long. His half smiles and violet eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gomory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bather. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Roland liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
