Bertram Westbrook, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes are likewise gray. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.
Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Bertram was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Personal [hide]
Description: He wears suspenders and yellow workpants. His shirt is brown, and he wears a heavy yellow leather apron most of the time. With a patchy silver beard and wild silver hair. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gerald is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gerald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
