He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Robert was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bather. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
