History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Manfred was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His first spouse was a Spice Merchant, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He tends to his Sage job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and sabotage a competitor
