History: He is a Lamia in disguise. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He wears red trousers with brown and tan striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. His brown hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are brown.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Lewis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Money/treasure.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'8" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. He wears a colorful flower in his golden hair. His fierce brown eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Conrad embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Conrad was born with his mother's beautiful face. Conrad abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: He wears grey leather gloves, a grey jacket, and tight pants. He is physically well-built. He keeps his long silver hair kept up in a rat tail. His half smiles and brown eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Robert fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
